The white bread found in many stores and pantries is a very common food but it does not have any kind of nutritive value. It has a lot of sugar but does not give you a satisfied meal. Some claim to have more wheat but it has more sugar than grain, so it has to be avoided. Try to take WHOLE GRAIN or WHEAT BREAD when ever possible. The nutritive value can also be substituted by using lettuce leaves and whole grain tortillas in the sandwiches.
There is always a hassle whether HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP is good or bad for health. It is definately not good for regular eating because it will cause one to gain weight and makes us more eager to eat sugar and sugary foods. Over eating of sugary foods, rich in fructose corn syrup leads to diabetes and other related health problems. As an alternative eat fresh berries and fruits instead of processed one.
