CUT DOWN OF MICROSOFT TABLET PRICES DUE TO DEBILITATED APPEAL
The price of the Surface RT tablet of the Micro Soft Company (MSFT:US) have been reduced by 30% as it battles to attract the costumers among its tough competitor Apple iPad.
The lowest model Surface RT cost 4 349 which has come down from $499. The model with the keyboard now costs $ 449 which has come down from $ 549. It is also giving a special discount on a model which has double memory at a rate of $ 449, without a keyboard cover & $ 549 with the accessory.
When Surface computers were released in October by MSFT it sold out 900,000 units in each of its two quarters on the market, according to a researcher IDC. Tablets with Microsoft's Windows will outsell PC's by 2015, according to IDC.
On its website the company has put up, "A GREAT TABLET, NOW AT AN EVEN BETTER PRICE."
